Child‑led Play Therapy in Dorset for ages 3–12

What is Play Therapy?

Statistics show that 1 in 10 UK children suffer a mental health problem, and 1 in 6 children suffer a psychological disorder. The recent pandemic and the lockdowns have also had a great impact on children’s well-being. There is neuroscience evidence that play builds neural pathways by releasing chemicals in the brain, releasing anti-anxiety chemicals in the brain with the help of play therapy.
